Taylor Swift would like to write and direct her own feature film.

She created 'All Too Well: The Short Film' - a 13-minute promo for the extended version of her song of the same name, 

which stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien - taking a step away from directing her own videos. Now,

she wants to take her filmmaking career even further.I would love to write and direct a feature." she said.

I liked making a film that was so intimate with a crew that was relatively small, just a solid group of people who I trusted."

In New York City as part of the Tribeca Film Festival, the 'Love Story' hitmaker reflected on the journey from 

directing her music videos to meddling in promos.In her testimony to filmmaker Mike Mills, she said:

I've always been very curious. I'm always looking, learning, and absorbing as much as I can.".

I just started going into the edit and changing a few music videos [into my career].

Almost ten years ago, I began meddling with the edit, then wrote the treatment for the music videos... It all started with meddling."

When she wrote the treatment for 'The Man,' she attempted to hire a female director, but none of the ones she knew were available,
