Submissions must be received by July 31, 2022 at the Department of Revenue Services

Governor Ned Lamont announced today that the 2022 Connecticut Child Tax Rebate application period is now open.

Taxpayers are eligible for a state tax rebate of up to $250 per child, up to three children, under the rebate program 

that was included in the budget bill signed by the governor last month. The program may be available to Connecticut residents

Who claimed that at least one dependent child was under the age of 18 on their federal income tax returns in 2021.

The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services must be contacted if you wish to apply for a rebate. 

Applications are being accepted today (June 1, 2022) and will close on July 31, 2022. Qualified recipients will begin receiving funding by late August.
