The preliminary report showed that five people were shot, said a law enforcement official.

The police are looking for a man with a gas mask and orange construction vest, the official said.

Police officers were called to the 36th subway station, where the D, N and R lane passed the Sunset Park environment

Around 8:30 a.m., a spokesman for the Police Department. They also received an smoke report at the station.

Transit officials say that the train on the D, N and R line will be postponed because of an unspecified investigation.
