iOS 16, the next version of Apple's mobile operating system, includes updates for the Maps app.

With the new OS, Maps customers can find out more about multistop routing and transit information.

The Maps app will store previous routes in the Recent section for easier access, and multistop routing lets

You plan up to 15 stops in advance. Using Siri integration, you can add stops to your route if you're already

on the road, or plan multistop routes on your Mac and send them to your iPhone before leaving. 

You'll also be able to add transit cards to Apple Wallet and reload your balance without leaving Maps if you use public transit.
