Colleville-sur-Mer, France. Ray Wallace, 97, a former paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division

is among the dozens of U.S. veterans expected to attend. His plane was hit and caught fire on D-Day

forcing him to jump earlier than expected. 20 miles from the first village liberated from

Nazi occupation in France, Sainte-Mere-Eglise, he landed.
